Get Paid to Care for Your Loved One in Georgia
Freedom Adult Care helps Georgia families get paid to care for a loved one at home through the state’s Structured Family Care (SFC) Medicaid program. If you’re already caring for a family member — or you’re ready to — you may qualify to be paid as their caregiver.
What You’ll Do
As a paid family caregiver, you provide day-to-day care for your loved one in the home you already share — helping with everyday activities like bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and medication reminders. You’ll receive weekly, tax-free pay, plus training and ongoing support from our team.
Caregiver Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Live in the same household as the person you’ll care for
- Be a family member (biological or by marriage)
- Pass a satisfactory background check
Some restrictions apply to spouses and legal guardians — we’ll walk you through the details.
The Person You Care For Must
- Live in Georgia
- Be on Medicaid or Medicaid-eligible
- Be 21 years or older
- Need help with daily activities (nursing-home level of care)
